Terms of Service | CalendarSync

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account or using CalendarSync ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. CalendarSync is operated by BizGrants Consulting Pte Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

CalendarSync is a calendar synchronisation platform that connects your Google and Microsoft calendar accounts to keep them in sync and prevent double-bookings. We offer a 14-day free trial and a paid Pro subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using CalendarSync, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Account registration

You may register using Google, Microsoft, or Apple OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are being shared or misused.

5. Calendar access and permissions

To provide the Service, you will grant CalendarSync permission to read and write calendar events on your behalf via OAuth. We only access the calendars you explicitly connect.

You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting a calendar from your dashboard or via your Google or Microsoft account security settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete synced events already created.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its APIs
Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
Circumvent any access controls or subscription limits
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

7. Subscription and billing

Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to trial-tier features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to Pro to continue using the Service beyond trial limits.

Pro subscription

Pro is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice by email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime.

9. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. CalendarSync's use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

10. Intellectual property

CalendarSync and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BizGrants Consulting Pte Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your calendar data. You grant us a limited licence to access and process that data solely to provide the Service.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that synced events will always be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed appointments, scheduling errors, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BizGrants Consulting Pte Ltd and CalendarSync from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of account deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
